Event Line Rules

One must join the line at the end – regardless of friends, family or servants seen further up. Pushing in will not be tolerated.

We appreciate the interest you good people have in our new products. While we have provided basic amenities for people in the queue, we have also provided clear and precise guidelines on the responsibilities people must take for their own wellbeing when deciding to queue.

It is acceptable to briefly depart the line to use the lavatory facilities or fetch a drink from the water fountain or distillery store, however, one with such an urge must notify their neoghbour in line to save their spot.

If you choose to sleep overnight, you will be rquired to sleep in your line position, in order to hold said position. A bed of hay will not be provided, so please do not ask.

Please be courteous and keep noise to a minimum after 9pm. After this time, please be courteous to others and ensure no chatter registers louder than a dog's bark.

Cooking is not permitted anywhere on site. This is because a gentleman once cooked a meal of hog's tongue for the entire line and everyone got sick. It is also due to other reasons.

A person of no less than 18 years of age can hold a space in line.

The Bundaberg Distilling Company is a hazardous goods site. Gas-powered devices of any type are therefore not permitted for use anywhere at Bundaberg Distilling Company. If you wear a gas-powered pacemaker, please switch it off.

However divine the liquid, the drinking of alcohol anywhere on site is strictly forbidden. Any person caught consuming alcohol will be muzzled and escorted from the premises, and told to return no later than two moons hence.

While some people are in the habit of discarding litter in their own homes, we cannot abide this. Please help keep the Bundaberg Distilling Company neat, tidy and presentable, and place all rubbish, filth and propaganda in the bins provided.

Whatever technology available at the time (photography and video cameras) will be used to record those in line for security reasons.

It is the right of BDC to deny service and remove individuals who do not respect rules, or do not act appropriately/ all decisions are final.

These rules were concocted only so that you may all enjoy your time here at the distillery. Our customers are very important to us – however, we have facilities and rules in place we would like you to respect. We are looking forward to opening the doors shortly to share with you our latest, liquid invention.
