Details: On January 27, Bundaberg was engulfed by the worst flood in its history.
It took our streets from us, severing the veins that breathe life into our community.
But you can help us reclaim them. Join us at the Bundaberg Rum Distillery on March
16 for Road to Recovery, a special fundraising event. Claim a bottle of limited-edition
rum that will only be available at the Distillery. This is your chance to lend a
hand, so make the journey. On March 16, all roads lead to Bundaberg.
The Road to Recovery commemorative bottle is a 5 year old rum, and is one of the
rarest to be released by the Bundaberg Distilling Co. It will be available for sale
for $60 from the distillery on March 16. Limit 1 per person, only available while
stocks last. All proceeds from the sale of the Road to Recovery bottles will go towards
flood recovery, to be named at the Distillery event on March 16. The bottles will
feature the names of the flood affected streets across the City of Bundaberg. The
bottles will be handed out randomly on the day and are not numbered. Special requests
for specific street names are unable to be processed.
A complimentary Road to Recovery bottle will also be available to residents of flood-affected
residential houses in Bundaberg (one bottle per household, only available to residents
above 18 years of age). Residents can collect their bottle from the distillery at
the March 16 event up until 11th May. NB: the flood affected houses are identified
as per the Bundaberg council data and proof of residency is required to claim the
