Details: Using the distillery's 120 years of rum-making expertise, our master craftsmen have searched our two-year old Bundaberg Rum reserves and selected a vat that was producing a rum with extra special characteristics - Vat 207. This premium rum was then doubled aged for a minimum of four years in our hand-crafted oak vats until it reached its peak.

The additional time maturing has added a richness to the classic Bundaberg Rum character, earning the right to be the first ever release of Bundaberg Rum Select Vat.

This rum was released at the distillery on 24 June 2012 with the first 5000 bottles numbered. The release followed an aviation theme, with “Top Rum” being the slogan for the event.

Select Vat 315 was released at the end of 2012, with the numbered bottles being allocated via online lottery. 5000 numbered bottles. The under 1000 numbers came with 5 limited edition “Top Rum” prints
